Judge me, O God, and contend my contention against a nation not godly; from a man (ish) of deceit and injustice deliver me.
For You are the God of my stronghold; why have You cast me off? Why do I go about in mourning under the oppression of the enemy?
Send out Your light and Your truth; they shall lead me; they shall bring me to the mountain of Your holiness and to Your tabernacles (mishkan).
And I will go to the altar of God, to God, the joy of my gladness; and I will praise You upon the harp, O God, my God.
Why are you bowed down, O my soul (nephesh)? And why do you moan within me? Hope in God, for yet I shall praise Him, the salvations (yeshuah) of my face, and my God.
