Psalms 84

Yeshua Literal Version (YLV)

To the leader; upon the Gittith. Of the sons of Korah, a Psalm.

How lovely are your tabernacles (mishkan), YHWH of hosts (tzevaot)!

My soul (nephesh) has longed, yes, even pined, for the courts of YHWH; my heart and my flesh (basar) sing for joy to the living (chai) God.

Even the sparrow has found a house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she has placed her young—your altars, YHWH of hosts (tzevaot), my King and my God.

Happy are those who dwell in your house; they will still praise you. Selah.

Happy is the man (adam) whose strength is in you, in whose heart are the highways.

Those passing through the valley of Baca make it a place of springs; the early rain also covers it with blessings.

They go from strength to strength; each appears before God in Zion.

YHWH God of hosts (tzevaot), hear my prayer; give ear, God of Jacob. Selah.

Our shield, see, God, and look upon the face of your anointed.

For a day in your courts is better than a thousand; I have chosen to stand at the threshold in the house of my God rather than to dwell in the tents (ohel) of wickedness.

For a sun and a shield is YHWH God; grace and glory YHWH gives; he does not withhold good from those who walk in integrity.

YHWH of hosts (tzevaot), happy is the man (adam) who trusts in you.
