1For the leader, of the sons of Korah, a psalm.
2You have favored your land, YHWH; you have turned back the captivity of Jacob.
3You have lifted the iniquity of your people; you have covered all their sin. Selah.
4You have gathered in all your wrath; you have turned back from the burning of your anger.
5Restore us, O God of our salvation, and annul your indignation with us.
6Forever will you be angry with us? Will you draw out your anger to generation and generation?
7Will you not yourself return and revive us, that your people may rejoice in you?
8Show us, YHWH, your lovingkindness, and your salvation you will give to us.
9I will hear what the God YHWH will speak; for he will speak peace to his people and to his faithful ones, but let them not return to folly.
10Surely his salvation is near to those who fear him, that glory may dwell in our land.
11Lovingkindness and truth have met together; righteousness and peace have kissed.
12Truth springs up from the earth, and righteousness looks down from heaven.
13Also YHWH will give the good, and our land will give its yield.
14Righteousness goes before him, and sets his footsteps to the way.
