He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High (Elyon) abides in the shadow of Shaddai.
I say of YHWH, "My refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust."
For he delivers you from the snare of the fowler, from the pestilence of destruction.
With his pinions he covers you, and under his wings you take refuge; his truth is a shield and a buckler.
You shall not fear the terror of the night, nor the arrow that flies by day,
nor the pestilence that walks in the darkness, nor the destruction that lays waste at noon.
A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; to you it shall not come near.
Only with your eyes shall you look, and see the recompense of the wicked.
For you, YHWH, are my refuge; you have made the Most High (Elyon) your dwelling place.
No evil shall befall you, and no plague shall come near your tent.
For he commands (tzivvah) his angels concerning you, to keep you in all your ways.
Upon their hands they bear you up, lest you strike your foot against a stone.
Upon the lion and the cobra you tread; you trample the young lion and the serpent (tannin).
Because he has set his love upon me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he knows my name.
He calls me, and I answer him; I am with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honor him.
With length of days I will satisfy him, and I will show him my salvation (yeshuah).
