Satan's Scheme: Opposing the Celebration of the Holy Moedim

There are evil religions and false forms of Christianity across the world that hinder the celebration of the Holy Feasts of the Lord. This is exemplified by recent events such as the terror attacks carried out by Hamas during the 2023 Feast of Tabernacles, Iran's attempts to erase Israel through its proxy Hezbollah, and the actions of Arab nations who launched the Yom Kippur War 50 years ago. These acts clearly reflect the influence of Satan on their behavior. 

📖 Daniel 7:25 (Translation)

"He will speak against the Most High and oppress His holy people, and will try to change the set times and the laws."

The act of 'changing the set times and laws' is a direct opposition to God's appointed Moedim (all Sabbaths, festivals, and covenantal times) and His Law.

📖 Galatians 4:10-11 (Translation)

10 "You are observing days and months and seasons and years (Moedim).
11 I fear for you, that somehow I have wasted my efforts on you."

In this passage, 'observing' or paratereo refers not merely to keeping the Moedim (God’s appointed festivals) but rather condemns the false attitude of those who criticize and mock those who observe these times, accusing them of legalism. This incorrect attitude twists true faith and distorts genuine observance of God’s appointed times.

📖 2 Peter 3:16 (Translation)

He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters. His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction.

📖 Revelation 22:10-11 (Translation)
