The Crucifixion Passover & Resurrection
🟦 Biblical Date System and Yeshua’s Crucifixion and Resurrection
📌 To correctly understand Jesus' crucifixion and resurrection, one must apply the Biblical date calculation method.
📌 Jesus prophesied "three days and three nights" (Matthew 12:40), which must be aligned with the Biblical timeline.
Jonah 1:17 (Yeshuah Literal Translation, with Hebrew Transliteration)
Va-ye-man YHWH) And YHWH appointed,
(דָּג גָּדוֹל Dag gadol) a great fish,
(לִבְלֹעַ אֶת־יוֹנָה Livlo'a et-Yonah) to swallow Jonah,
(וַיְהִי יוֹנָה Va-yehi Yonah) and Jonah was,
(בִּמְעֵי הַדָּג Bi-me'ei ha-dag) in the belly of the fish,
(שְׁלֹשָׁה יָמִים וּשְׁלֹשָׁה לֵילוֹת Sheloshah yamim u-sheloshah leilot) three days and three nights.
🕎 3 Days & 3 Nights: Applying the Biblical Date Calculation to Jesus' Death and Resurrection
This is the sign of Jonah. Amazingly, the timing follows the sign of Jonah precisely, down to the exact sequence. The fact that the Hebrew text places "day" before "night" in the sign of Jonah proves how accurately the Bible was given.
✔ Nisan 13 evening – The Last Supper (Biblical day begins)
✔ Nisan 13 daytime – Crucifixion (First Day of Death)
✔ Nisan 14 evening – Burial in the tomb (First Night of Death)
✔ Nisan 14 daytime – Jesus remained in the tomb (Second Day of Death)
✔ Nisan 15 evening – Jesus remained in the tomb (Second Night of Death)
✔ Nisan 15 daytime – Jesus remained in the tomb (Third Day of Death)
✔ Nisan 16 evening – Jesus remained in the tomb (Third Night of Death)
✔ Nisan 16 dawn – Resurrection! (First Omer Offering Morning)
🕎 The day Yeshua was resurrected is Omer Reshit
The day the first sheaf of harvest is presented as a wave offering.
▶️ Jesus Christ is the firstfruits of the resurrection. However, the resurrection itself is not the Feast of Firstfruits.
▶️ Because Yeshua is God, He gives fruit in times of Moedim (Kairos), without the process of ripening.
However, those who have just begun their faith are like unharvested sheaves of grain.
Therefore, they must go through the threshing floor process before becoming the wheat that is gathered into the heavenly storehouse.
Whoever sincerely repents and receives Yeshua in faith will have their spirit resurrected (wakened) at that very moment.
And on the fiftieth day, after passing through seven Sabbaths, they must receive the Holy Spirit. (Yom Habikkurim, the Feast of Firstfruits)
▶️ Only then do they become saints who bear the fruit of the Spirit.
But as Yeshua said, if one does not bear fruit, they will be cut down and thrown into the fire.
▶️ However, to become the perfect fruit of the resurrection by following Jesus Christ, one must work out their salvation with fear and trembling. Only then will the sleeping soul awaken, be clothed with a glorious new body, and attain the complete resurrection of spirit, soul, and body. The Bible calls this the first resurrection (Revelation 20:5).
🕎 The Reason Why Each Person’s Spirit is Resurrected First
Each person’s spirit must awaken first for faith to begin and to receive the Holy Spirit.
Therefore, the spirit of each person is resurrected (awakened) first with ease.
(Matthew 11:30)
"For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light."
(Mark 12:27)
"He is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living. Therefore, you are greatly mistaken."
(John 11:25-26)
"Jesus said to her, 'I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in Me, even if he dies, will live,
and everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?'"
▶️ In light of all these biblical facts, it is a serious misunderstanding for modern Christians to believe that any pastor, elder, or specific individual possesses apostolic spiritual authority.
Even the Apostle Paul, whenever he encountered those who tried to bow before him, was astonished and lifted them up, confessing, "I am also a fellow believer like you."
Yeshua Literal Translation – Biblical Passages
🔹 2 Corinthians 1:24 (Yeshua Literal Translation)
"We are not those who rule over your faith, but rather fellow workers with you in joy, for you stand firm in faith on your own."
🔹 1 Corinthians 3:5-7 (Yeshua Literal Translation)
"Who is Apollos, and who is Paul? They are merely servants through whom you came to believe, as the Lord assigned to each. I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth. So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow."
🔹 2 Corinthians 4:5 (Yeshua Literal Translation)
"We do not proclaim ourselves, but Yeshua the Messiah as Lord, and we declare that we have become your servants for Yeshua’s sake."
🕎 Understanding the Days & Time in the Bible
1️⃣ Nisan 12 (Day) – Disciples Prepare for the Passover
📌 (Morning to Afternoon of Nisan 12)
Yeshua instructed the disciples to prepare for the Passover meal (Matthew 26:17, Luke 22:8-13).
This was not yet the Passover, but the time to prepare for the Last Supper, which would take place on the evening of Nisan 13.
2️⃣ Nisan 13 (Evening) – The Last Supper
📌 (Evening of Nisan 13, after sunset)
The evening of Nisan 13 began.
Yeshua ate the Last Supper with his disciples (Matthew 26:26-30).
After the meal, he prayed at the Garden of Gethsemane (Matthew 26:36-46).
Later that night, Judas Iscariot led Roman soldiers to betray and arrest Yeshua (Matthew 26:47-56).
3️⃣ Nisan 13 (Night to Dawn) – Trials and Suffering
📌 (Night to Early Morning of Nisan 13)
Yeshua was taken before the high priest Caiaphas and the Sanhedrin for questioning (Matthew 26:57-68).
Peter denied Yeshua three times (Matthew 26:69-75).
At dawn, Yeshua was brought before Pilate (Matthew 27:1-2).
He was then sent to Herod and later returned to Pilate (Luke 23:6-12).
4️⃣ Nisan 13 (Morning) – Carrying the Cross to Golgotha
📌 (Morning of Nisan 13)
Pilate sentenced Yeshua to death (John 19:16).
In the morning, he carried the cross to Golgotha (Matthew 27:31-33).
He was nailed to the cross (Matthew 27:35).
5️⃣ Nisan 13 (Day) – Crucifixion (First Day of Death)
📌 (Daytime of Nisan 13, 9 A.M. to 3 P.M.)
Around 9 A.M. (the third hour), Yeshua was crucified (Mark 15:25).
From noon (the sixth hour), darkness covered the land (Matthew 27:45).
At about 3 P.M. (the ninth hour), Yeshua breathed his last (Matthew 27:50).
6️⃣ Nisan 14 (Evening) – Burial in the Tomb (First Night of Death)
📌 (Evening of Nisan 14, before sunset)
Yeshua’s body was taken down from the cross before sunset.
Joseph of Arimathea requested Yeshua’s body from Pilate (Matthew 27:57-58).
Nicodemus brought spices, and together they wrapped Yeshua’s body in linen and placed it in a new tomb (John 19:39-42).
They sealed the tomb before the beginning of the High Sabbath (Luke 23:54).
7️⃣ Nisan 14 (Daytime) – Jesus remained in the tomb (Second Day of Death)
📌 (Daytime of Nisan 14)
Yeshua remained in the tomb during the second day.
8️⃣ Nisan 15 (Evening) – Jesus remained in the tomb (Second Night of Death)
📌 (Evening of Nisan 15)
Yeshua remained in the tomb during the second night.
9️⃣ Nisan 15 (Daytime) – Jesus remained in the tomb (Third Day of Death)
📌 (Daytime of Nisan 15)
Yeshua remained in the tomb during the third day.
🔟 Nisan 16 (Evening) – Jesus remained in the tomb (Third Night of Death)
📌 (Evening of Nisan 16)
Yeshua remained in the tomb during the third night.
🔟 Nisan 16 (Dawn) – Resurrection! (First Omer Offering Morning)
📌 (The Day of the Firstfruits Offering – Omer Reshit)
Just before dawn, on the morning of the Firstfruits Offering (Omer Reshit), Yeshua rose from the dead (Matthew 28:1-6).
Leviticus 23:9-14
This fulfilled the prophecy of three days and three nights (Matthew 12:40).
Yeshua first appeared to Mary Magdalene and later to his disciples (John 20:11-18, Luke 24:13-35).
He revealed himself as the risen Messiah, the Firstfruits of the Resurrection (1 Corinthians 15:20-23).
🟦 THE CONCEPT OF A BIBLICAL DAY
📌 In the Bible, a day begins at evening and continues until the next day’s daylight.
📌 Genesis 1:5 – “And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day.”
📌 Therefore, a day follows the order of "evening → day," and the modern concept of "midnight (00:00) as the beginning of a day" does not apply.
🕰 Structure of a Biblical Day:
✔ Evening (sunset) → Night → Dawn → Morning (after sunrise) → Noon → Afternoon (until sunset)
🟦 BIBLICAL DATE CALCULATION METHOD
📌 In the Bible, a day begins at sunset and ends at the following sunset.
📌 For example, "Nisan 14 evening" in modern terms corresponds to "after 6 P.M. on Nisan 13."
🗓 Structure of Biblical Date Calculation:
✔ Sunset (Evening) – The beginning of a new day.
✔ Night – The first period of the day.
✔ Dawn – The second period of the day.
✔ Morning (after sunrise) – The third period of the day.
✔ Noon to Daytime – The fourth period of the day.
✔ Afternoon (before sunset) – The final period of the day.
✔ A new day begins at sunset.
🟦 CONCLUSION:
✔ The Biblical day follows the order of "Evening → Daytime."
✔ Applying Biblical date calculation is essential to correctly understand Jesus' resurrection.
✔ Using the modern "midnight-based" day calculation causes serious errors in Biblical interpretation.
🟦 OPSÉ DE SABBATON Matthew 28:1
(ὀψὲ δὲ σαββάτων, LATER YET SABBATON)
Opsé De Sabbaton (ὀψὲ δὲ σαββάτων) does not merely mean "after the Sabbath" but refers to the latter part of a period that includes three consecutive Sabbaths during the Feast.
Specifically, it denotes the third Shabbaton (שַׁבָּתוֹן), meaning that Yeshua's resurrection occurred on the morning of the Omer Reshit wave offering (Nisan 16 dawn). It is not the feast of first fruit but the first Omer Resihit wave offering.
🟦 🚨 KEY POINTS THAT CHRISTIANS MUST CORRECT
1️⃣ The Omer Reshit wave offering day (Nisan 16) was also a Shabbaton (שַׁבָּתוֹן).
2️⃣ The resurrection did occur "during the Sabbath" but began with the morning of the wave offering.
3️⃣ After the resurrection, the wave offering took place, and the Feast of Unleavened Bread continued.
🔥 This crucial understanding corrects the misconception that Yeshua rose after a single Sabbath. In reality, He rose on the third day of three consecutive Sabbaths, following the prophetic timeline perfectly.
This follows the Hebrew Scripture, which records the term ‘Shabbaton’ (שַׁבָּתוֹן), and its Greek transliteration as ‘Sabbaton’ (Σάββατον).
This is expressed as "ὀψὲ δὲ σαββάτων" (Opse de Sabbaton) and is translated into English as "later yet Sabbaton."
