Leviticus 23:4~5

בַּחֹדֶשׁ הָרִאשֹׁון בְּאַרְבָּעָה עָשָׂר לַחֹדֶשׁ בֵּין הָעַרְבָּיִם פֶּסַח לַיהוָה׃

In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month between evenings, is the LORD's Passover.

Passover represents the initial stage of salvation for a person’s 'soul.' Interestingly, the term 'salvation' is essentially a translation from a foreign language. In the Hebrew Scriptures, the precise term is 'Yeshuah.' The Bible adeptly explains how one's 'soul' can receive 'Yeshuah.' The event of the Crucifixion distinctly outlines the process of believing in 'Yeshua.' This doctrine is known as the Kingdom Gospel of Jesus Christ, or simply, the Gospel of the Cross. To attain salvation, or 'Yeshuah,' an individual's 'spirit,' currently in a state of dormancy, must first be awakened by the Messiah, Yeshua. Every living creature possesses a 'spirit,' 'soul,' and 'body.' Even those who do not believe in the one true God recognize the existence of 'soul' and 'body,' finding joy and occasionally facing struggles in life with these aspects.

To awaken one’s 'spirit,' a firm belief in the atonement provided by Messiah Yeshua, symbolized by the Passover Lamb, is crucial. Additionally, one's earthly self—a life entangled in worldly concerns under Satan’s dominion—must be transformed into the Kingdom of the Son of God's love, Agape (Colossians 1:13). This profound transformation requires the awakening of each individual's 'spirit.' Passover serves as this fundamental gateway. This is precisely why Messiah Yeshua, Jesus Christ, was crucified as the Passover Lamb outside the gates of Jerusalem on the Preparation day of Passover (Paraskeue) approximately 2000 years ago. Through His sacrifice, those who believe in Him are invited to partake in the spiritual Passover, journeying toward eternal life.

The exact dates and times for observing Passover are precisely recorded in the Hebrew Scriptures. The accounts of Jesus Christ’s crucifixion and resurrection, as documented in the four Gospels of the Koine New Testament, align perfectly with the dates and times specified in the Hebrew Scriptures.

By faithfully adhering to the sanctity of these two Scriptures, one adopts the fundamental posture for biblical interpretation. It is when humans truly embrace this fact that they encounter its reality. By relying solely on the Bible, without dependence on external sources, and fully trusting in its scripture, one can accurately understand the following seven passages from the Hebrew Scriptures: Exodus 12:6, Leviticus 23:5, Numbers 9:5, Deuteronomy 16:6, Joshua 5:10, 2 Chronicles 35:1, Ezekiel 45:21.
