The Last Supper and Preparation Day

The Last Supper was a men's only ceremonial event held on the evening of the 13th of Aviv. Jesus and the twelve disciples, all men, gathered for this occasion. After the meal, they sang a hymn and proceeded to the Garden of Gethsemane for prayer, where no women were present.

This underscores a significant point: the rabbi and his disciples were commemorating and preparing for Passover on the evening of the 13th of Aviv, before the daytime of the 13th, the preparation day. This simple evening meal marked the beginning of the preparation for Passover.
